Your New Team & Role
This role, reporting to our Executive General Manager - Engineering forms part of our high performing Engineering Division. You will play a key role in managing the full life cycle of goods and service contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are managed. This role will also act as a financial business partner to the leadership team by managing the development of engineering activities with the aim of ensuring profitable operations and maximising sales to enhance the overall gross profit of Fenner Conveyors.

Responsibilities
Tender Management
- Manage the tender process until awarded which includes collection and compilation of financial, technical and commercial information and completing of submissions and queries
Day to day management of contracts, including;
- Monitor the progress and performance against project and tender plan.
- Identify and take action to resolve problems to minimise delays on contract delivery;
- Attend client/contractor meetings and resolve client and manage project issues.
- Attend project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects.
- Prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project to internal stakeholders;
- Review and monitor project and contract progress to assure quality and adherence to requirements of contract documents;
- Report on key project milestones to project team, commercial team and client;
- Administer ongoing service contracts to ensure anniversary dates, contract reviews, KPI’s and reporting requirements are achieved.
- Manage the development and implementation of engineering activities with the aim of ensuring profitable operation, agreed goals, costs, inventory, equipment utilisation and human resource costs,
- Analyse financial results for individual locations against budget/forecast and provide support to managers to assist them in making business decisions to drive profitable outcomes.
- Manage annual Budget process and reporting by providing guidance and support to managers to develop an accurate budget in line with Company expectations.
- Business partnering to the Engineering department providing financial and capital management
- Woking with the Engineering leadership team, review, update and maintain product pricing information on existing & preferred components as well as standard pricing lists for use for the engineering division
