Do you want a high-flying corporate career working for the world’s largest air services provider based in Brisbane?An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and dynamic National FoodSafety Systems & Document Manager to join our team in BrisbaneMore about this role:Reporting to the General Manager Quality Assurance, the National FoodSafety Systems & Document Manager is responsible for developing, updating, and managing all aspects of dnata's Food Safety document management system at a national level.This role ensures that Food Safety documentation complies with regulatory and customer requirements, positioning dnata as an industry leader in airline catering.What are your responsibilities?
- Develop, review, and update the Australian Food Safety documents within the dnata Food Safety Management System.
- Maintain and process all document changes in the dnata Safety Hub as per dnata Global requirements.
- Update and manage the National Documents Review register and record all changes for auditing and tracking requirements.
- Review Food Safety audit results nationally to identify process and / or procedural changes and update documents accordingly.
- Identify and assist procedure improvements and efficiencies.
- Review and implement national process for completed CCP document storage and retrieval, in line with Document Control Procedure.
- Assist with review and implementation of digital HACCP program.
- Stay abreast of developments in Food Safety regulations, technologies, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Attend meetings, conferences, and other forums related to Food Safety and document management.
- Maintain and Manage the Approved Supplier Lists for Food & Beverage, Service Providers & Non Food and Food Grade Packaging.
- Maintain an up-to-date list of HACCP certificates, Halal certificates and Product Specifications for suppliers and products as required.
- Input allergen information from Product Specifications into JDE for compiling allergen reports for menus.
- Motivate and inspire team members by creating an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
- Demonstrated success in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree or higher in food science, microbiology, public health, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Food Safety regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in the Australian context
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and technical documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and inspire teamwork.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Food Safety management (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is highly desirable
