A great opportunity has become available for an experienced National HSE Mgt Systems Business Partner to join the HSE team in Sydney.

The National HSE Mgt Systems Business Partner will be responsible for delivery of HSE improvement programs across the TANZ business and respective HSE strategies.

YOUR ROLE

Working from our Sydney HQ, Sydney Olympic Park, on Wann-gal land, your role purpose will be:

  • Consolidate the multiple Thales Australia and New Zealand Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems (TANZ HSE) for overall system harmonisation and future integration of TANZ HSE and Quality Management systems (IMS).
  • Support and drive implementation, improvement and ongoing maintenance of TANZ HSE management System and associated compliance programs
  • Evaluating current HSE documents to ensure alignment to current Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and Environmental legislation and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support and drive discrete national programs of work aimed at improving work health and safety responsibilities and outcomes across multiple stakeholder groups e.g. procurement, operations and project management
  • Ensure the Management of Change process is effectively implemented across HSE programs
  • Assist in the execution and delivery of the TANZ HSE Assurance program

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:                                

  • Minimum AQF level 5 qualification in work health and safety
  • ISO45001 / ISO14001 and / or Integrated Management System auditor
  • LEAN certification or demonstrated Change Management experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in work, health and safety, preferably in large complex organisations
  • Experience in ISO45001, ISO14001 and Integrated Management Systems preferred.
  • Experience in developing and using HSE Information Management Systems preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong stakeholder programs engagement
  • Able to inspire and motivate performance across organisational boundaries, driving efficient and positive change in HSE culture.
  • Ability to design, develop and deliver practical HSE management system documentation relative to an operational environment
  • Lead and participate in change initiatives aimed at delivering a mature HSE culture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • High level analytical, interpersonal, organisational and computer skills. Independent judgment is exercised in performance of duties.
