THE OPPORTUNITY
Location: Birtinya
We have an exciting National Livestock Business Analyst position based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, this opportunity will see the successful candidate identifying and delivering value creation across stakeholders via a combination of data and strategic execution analysis across industry and performance benchmarks to ensure the KGF Australia livestock team are exceeding company goals.
YOUR RESPONSILBITIES
- Design, develop, implement and analyse models to consistently track livestock performance nationally across all purchase categories
- Link & source reliable industry benchmarks to compare against KGF AU Livestock performance to support decisions in strategic demand led solutions across species, geographies, and facilities
- Present weekly & fortnightly livestock cadence through gathering of relevant industry information and benchmarking
- Price forecasting and historical performance review on all livestock purchase categories
- Build, implement and manage performance reporting in PowerBi & MS Excel
- Present accurate real time buy/position tracker through accurate information from Livestock Central
- Support supply agreement contract governance through communication tracking and sharing relevant timelines internally for action
- Tracking of livestock performance in Southern Feedlot models utilised by KGF
- Identify and create purchasing opportunities through critical market, industry, and competitor Analysis
- Monitor and interpret livestock prices, seasonal factors, and production trends to advantage/protect KGF livestock acquisition program
You will bring with you:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, and/or agribusiness, and/or relevant years of experience
- 2 – 3 years experience in Livestock/Grain or relevant processing
- Microsoft skills particularly in PowerBi, Excel & PowerPoint
- Project planning & delivery
- Confident Presentation delivery
- Data analysis & reporting capabilities
- Proven success in working collaboratively with finance, sales and operational teams
