The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about empowering others and driving excellence in mining operations? Join us as our National Manager - Operator Training and lead a dedicated team of six in delivering top-tier Operator Training programs for new mining equipment across Australia.
In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training materials and programs, ensuring our customers are equipped to maximise the potential of Komatsu products. You'll play a critical role in supporting new machine deliveries and product trials, ensuring our customers' workforce is competent from day one.

What we are looking for:
Mandatory
- Production operator of the 3 or more of the following equipment:
- Large mining dozers
- Mechanical and electric haul trucks
- Excavators and face-shovels
- Large wheel loaders (mechanical and electrical)
- Underground LHD loaders
- Minimum 10 years of mining industry experience, preferably with customer relations and project management focus
- High level of customer service orientation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well-developed computer and software application skills
- Ability to build strong internal and customer relationships
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in guiding and supporting teams
- Deep understanding of remote equipment monitoring technologies
- Quality-focused, flexible, and adaptable
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites when necessary, including up to two weeks away
- Experience working in both surface and underground mines
Preferred
- Minimum 8-10 years’ experience as a mining operator on surface products and/or in underground
- Additional 5 years’ experience as a Komatsu Operator and/or Trainer
- Relevant state generic inductions and medicals
- RII (National Competency) Machine Certificate Qualifications for Mining Class Machine Operation
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
