The Company
A leader in the insurance repair service sector across Australia and New Zealand with over 15 years’ of industry experience. You will join a multi-faceted construction company, with offices spanning several States. The business is made up of 5 Sectors – Domestic Insurance, Commercial Insurance, Strata, Restoration & Emergency Make-safe.
We are looking to bring in an experienced National Operations Manager to lead the Commercial Insurance & Strata teams with a vision to grow and take a greater market share across Australia. This growth will add to existing partnerships with multiple industry-leading insurance companies to deliver efficient and effective emergency response and insurance repairs for clients across ANZ.
With a strategic growth phase underway, we’re looking to find a driven, high-performing professional to join the team.
The Role
- Strategic Business Development and relationship building with key contacts in the Insurer, Loss Adjuster, Broker and agency space.
- Utilise your industry expertise to drive opportunities
- Oversee high-level HR duties within your team, conserving quality control and cultural harmony
- Implement and improve organisational processes
- Performing financial predictions by preparing with the CFO annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variance and initiating corrective actions
- Developing operations policies by evaluating and enforcing policies across the business unit
- Cultivate and foster strategic partnerships
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities and anticipate industry trends
- Identifying, securing & nurturing new business growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Government Departments and large Insurance companies
- Exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) while expanding our market share and presence.
- Ensure winning proposal strategies are developed and implemented to ensure the highest probability of success
- Review tender documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and management activities
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship at necessary levels within the organisation
- Preparing and presenting 'Service offering & Point-of-difference project proposals" to prospective clients
- Expanding market share & driving targeted revenue growth
The Candidate
- Substantial knowledge of the Commercial Insurance Repairs sector
- Well connected with a vast network of Loss Adjusters and Brokers that provide opportunities to growth across the Eastern Seaboard.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands
- Process driven and able to work towards short-, medium- and long-term goals
