About this Opportunity:
The team you will join contributes to maintaining and preserving Mackay Regional Council's Natural Areas by undertaking basic habitat restoration, vegetation management and general maintenance tasks.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
- General Construction Induction Training.
- QLD "C" Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
- Operate and maintain chainsaws - Level 1.
- ACDC Commercial Operators Licence ACDC.
- Chemical Accreditation (AQF3).
- Relevant experience in weed control, including the use of herbicides and pesticides, and vegetation restoration.
Salary & Employee Benefits:
- Base annual salary from $57,108- $58,041 + allowances as applicable (level offered will be dependent on successful candidates' qualification and experience)
- Up to 18% superannuation (conditions apply)
- Choice of 4 or 5 weeks' annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
