Looking for enthusiastic and hard working individuals and crews for a number of fast paced and physically demanding roles across the north west of Tasmania (Devonport to Burnie to Launceston) on the NBN. Experience preferred, but not required, as training will be provided to the right candidates.
We operate across multiple projects, and roles and duties can include rod and rope/pipe proving, site scoping, surveying, high pressure flushing and dig down blockage repairs, hauling, pit removals and installation and civil works.
Skilled excavator operators and truck tipper drivers with relevant licenses and tickets (MR and HR) are highly encouraged to apply, as are those with concreting experience on footpaths and driveways.
Candidates must have an above average work ethic, ability to work long hours in an extremely fast paced environment, good attention to details, competent using technology, and excellent communication skills.
Due to the varied locations of work, candidates MUST have a current drivers license and own transport, as well as a construction white card (or willing to get one).
Positions are casual, working 40 hours a week (weather permitting), with overtime often available. Contract rates potentially available for those with experience. Work is ongoing, with the projects we work on typically lasting several years.
So if you don't mind getting dirty and working outdoors, have a “can do” attitude, and enjoy working in small team environments, please get in contact, with your location, availability, and relevant/related work history, to discuss roles further.
