Clinical Nurse Specialist - Public Health

This is for a Fixed Term appointment at 60.80 hours per fortnight until 28/03/2025, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the Public Health team – Midwest 

To be successful, you will have...

• Experience in disease control including understanding of Public Health issues and coordination of disease control programs
• Effective verbal and written skills, especially advocacy and negotiation skills
• Ability to function independently and as part of a team
• Program development, implementation and evaluation skills and experience
• Effective computing skills

Position Profile:

This position plans, implements and evaluates Public Health programs and manages disease control programs at a regional level in collaboration with Regional Public Health Manager and Consultant Public Health Medicine. This position also acts as a resource for other health professionals in detection and control of communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Area Profile
