About Us: Amelia Read Psychology is a leading provider of disability support services dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and other Neurodevelopmental disabilities. As part of our expanding team, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced NDIS Support Coordinator to join us in making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
Position Overview: As part of our NDIS Support Coordination team, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals to navigate the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and access the supports they need to live independently. You will work closely with our team, clients, their families, and service providers to coordinate and implement personalized plans that align with their goals and aspirations.
This is a part time, temporary role, with potential for the chosen candidate to continue working with us. The role will be set at our brand new clinic in Burleigh Heads and will include travel. Supervision will be provided and admin support is available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and goals
Assist clients in developing and reviewing their NDIS plans
Collaborate with service providers to ensure the effective delivery of supports
Provide guidance and advocacy to clients in navigating the NDIS system
Monitor and review client progress, adjusting plans as necessary
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with NDIS standards
Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, disability studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience working with the NDIS and understanding of its processes
Strong knowledge of disability support services and community resources
Excellent communication, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
Blue Card
CPR and First Aid
Knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorder is favourable
