As a .NET Support Engineer you will work primarily on the support of an existing product developed in the.NET Framework 4.0 and higher.
The successful candidate will have experience working in both .NET backends and some exposure to JavaScript. They will have the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd Level support functions for the software product.
- Ensure security principles are applied across software solutions
- Maintain quality by testing software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Document installation, configuration, customisation and development in accordance with the archTIS document standards.
- Record discussions and approaches for the implementations
- Record issues in the archTIS Issue tracking system
- Update status and details in the above tools as required
- Provide scripts that address configuration and customisation changes to allow for automated build processes
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or similar role
- Development experience for web applications
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery
- Knowledge of back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python)
