Role Overview:
As an Engineer or Graduate Engineer in Network Communication Systems, you will embark on an enriching career journey primarily within the railway sector, with opportunities to diversify into other technological fields. Under the mentorship of our Senior Control Systems and Communication Systems Engineer you will contribute to state shaping projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes on an array of projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of data communication networks (OT and IT), with potential to work on other technology-driven projects in the operational control system space. This can be from developing scopes, technical specifications to design and configuration.
Support testing and commissioning processes to meet stringent project standards.
Solve technical problems in collaboration with experienced engineers and SME.
Engage in project management, ensuring efficient project progression and adherence to deadlines.
Work with diverse teams and stakeholders to optimize outcomes and explore new applications in different sectors.
Ideal Candidate:
A Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) or Equivalent in the fields of either computer science, networking, information and communication technology, or similar degree with an emphasis on computer networking the technologies associated.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in technology applications both in and outside the railway industry.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in team settings.
A proactive learner eager to develop in a technically demanding environment.
Work experience from internships or projects in design or testing are advantageous.
Industry certifications (i.e. CompTIA Network, CISCO CCNA, SANS Institute – GIAC) are advantageous.
