As a Network Engineer at Calibre, you will play a crucial role in process control network replacement projects for our tier-one mining client. This will provide you with opportunities to gain new skills and experiences through exposure to design, installation and commissioning works. You will work with a friendly and close-knit team and will get to make a real impact and help drive the success of our team with innovative solutions. This will include responsibilities such as:
Configure and test network equipment such as routers and switches.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of new switches into the existing network infrastructure.
Assess the current network infrastructure, topology, and configuration, and identify performance bottlenecks
Assist senior network engineers to identify replacement needs and make recommendations to increase reliability and security
Contribute to developing strategies to mitigate potential network issues and improve performance.
Thrive with us! We hope you’ll bring
Cisco CCNA certification and relevant tertiary qualifications
5+ years’ experience in network engineering
Previous experience working with Moxa equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to liaise with external stakeholders
Previous experience working on mining industry projects will be well regarded
