Your new role

Band 6 - Network Engineer

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network solutions to meet organisational requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networks and WLAN solutions into existing infrastructure and ensure seamless operation.
Develop and enforce network security policies, including access control, and firewall configurations to safeguard organisational assets.
Provide technical expertise and support to end-users and IT staff regarding network technologies, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Document network designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in the planning and execution of network-related projects, including
Upgrades, migrations, and expansions, to support business growth and continuity.
Proactively identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the network environment to increase efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

What you'll need to succeed

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Selection will be based on the following selection criteria; however, reference will also be made to other listed skills, knowledge, and attributes as required in the position description:
Relevant certifications in network and systems specialisation.
Minimum 3-years' experience working as an IT Network & Systems Engineer.
Proven ability to effectively develop, lead, and supervise project teams. Demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively with project sponsors and stakeholders to achieve high quality outcomes.
High level of written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to
Prepare and present reports and briefings.
Current Driving Licence.
