We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to join our team at a leading multinational retail chain. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to support our global operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network availability, performance, and security meet business requirements.
- Implement and maintain Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to track network devices, configurations, and changes.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external vendors on network-related issues.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and security best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
