What you will be doing?
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their network requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide proactive solutions to enhance network performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure for clients, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Configure and optimise network protocols such as TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, and BGP
- Implement security measures to protect networks from cyber threats, including intrusion detection/prevention systems and access controls.
- Conduct network assessments and performance tuning to ensure optimal network operation and uptime.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated network issues and implement new technologies.
- Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures for client networks.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and network emergencies.

What will make you successful?
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in Network Engineering roles, preferably in an MSP environment.
· Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.).
· Hands-on experience with network hardware/software configuration and troubleshooting.
· Proficiency in network security practices and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, etc.).
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Relevant certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are a plus.
· Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.) is desirable but not required.
