Exciting opportunities available for experienced NOC (Network Operations Centre) Lead. This role can be located in either Melbourne or Sydney.
About the Role:
A critical role in our Network Operations Centre (NOC) at Opticomm, this role will manage, co-ordinate and execute our Level 2 NOC, ensuring the Opticomm network is maintained and operated at the highest level, and customer SLAs are met.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensuring the network runs efficiently without interruption to achieve maximum network uptime
- Holistic management of any incidents to reduce impact to End Users
- Holistic management of escalated tickets to ensure resolution is achieved
- Management of escalations from external regulatory bodies
- Ownership of key internal and external relationships to drive continual improvement and improve operational processes
- All elements of people management including recruitment, management, training and change deployment
- Adherence to Regulatory & Compliance frameworks and legislation
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience for internal and external customers
- Plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure stability of Opticomm infrastructure, managed to operational metrics
- Curate and manage key relationships with applicable partners as the primary contact point for general interactions and as a listed escalation point
- Hire, develop, train, and retain highly responsive and customer focused NOC operators to ensure the effective operation of the Level 2 NOC function
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience for internal and external customers
- Plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations to ensure stability of Opticomm infrastructure, managed to operational metrics
- Curate and manage key relationships with applicable partners as the primary contact point for general interactions and as a listed escalation point
- Hire, develop, train, and retain highly responsive and customer focused NOC operators to ensure the effective operation of the Level 2 NOC function

Essential Experience:
- High availability to support 24x7 NOC Operation
- 3 years’ experience in a customer service focused Network Operations Centre
- 3 years’ experience in in carrier or partner engagement
- Experience in management of high performing teams
- Qualifications in Network Principles or Management
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to execute on development plans for direct reports
