About Your New Role
As a Network Operations Officer – Water, you will be responsible for providing expert advice for the effective operation of City of Gold Coast’s water distribution network.
What you'll be responsible for
- Scope, plan and coordinate water network planned and unplanned shutdowns.
- Manipulate the water network to manage supply to customers.
- Undertake investigations based on SCADA, IoT and GIS data.
- Review design and pre-construction drawings.
- Proactively investigate networks for GIS discrepancies
- An understanding of SCADA and logging devices
- Experience in data analytics
- An ability to produce clear and concise shutdown plans
- Proven ability to work with team members and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
- An enjoyment with working both indoors and outdoors
- High level of ICT competency
- Understanding of hydraulic principles.
