ABOUT IMC
Illawarra Metallurgical Coal (IMC) produces premium-quality, hard coking coal for steelmaking, which is transported within Australia and around the world. We operate two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.

This is a permanent full-time position based at the Regional Operations Centre, Port Kembla Coal Terminal in Wollongong, NSW.
As the Specialist Technology Infrastructure and Connectivity, you will provide skilled technology support to IMC mining operations and business teams in the Wollongong area.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
- Ensure delivery and availability of enterprise and production networks
- Manage technology service providers and ensure compliance with service level agreements
- Provide expert guidance on networking and cyber security
- Build sound frameworks and procedures to operate and govern technology solutions at IMC
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
- Multi-discipline IT background, preferably gained within mining or heavy industry
- Proficient experience in cyber security, with certification and or extensive knowledge of Cyber frameworks such as ISO2700, CISP, NIST etc
- Solid technical skills in Windows Server and Networking
- Proven ability to manage service providers and vendors
- Knowledge of infrastructure best practices including system redundancy, backup, monitoring, patching, disaster recovery, etc
- Certifications or equivalent Tertiary degree in relevant Technology, Digital or Vendor disciplines - CISCO CCNA certified will be well regarded
- Current Drivers Licence
