We are currently seeking a highly motivated Project Technical Officer to join our team in Kingston, Tasmania. In this role you will have the opportunity make a significant impact by providing essential support for the successful delivery for a major client’s ICT project.
About the role
As a System Administrator you will be responsible for failure mode analysis and resolution as well as operator access for the purposes of event conduct.
You will assist in undertaking system modelling and developing system architecture using digital software and tools.
Essential Criteria
- Experience with Simulation software/network technical support.
- Experience with assisting in the integration of components, systems, and sub-systems including new acquisitions.
- Experience with documentation and maintenance of configuration status (baselining documentation with system configuration).
- Experience with provisioning of systems administration support including service pack releases, patches, hotfixes, and security configuration.
- Facilitate and coordinate Tests and Evaluations to support the integration of distributed training connections across multiple Australian Defence Force Units.
- Experience supporting the maintenance of ICT Security accreditation in accordance with ISSM.
- Experience with monitoring systems performance, system resource utilisation, and capacity ensuring availability and reliability
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to support coach, mentor, and provide advice to personnel and other system users.
