New And Used Car Salesperson

Lyndoch Motors is a family owned company established in 1951 who specializes in New Mitsubishi and pre-owned vehicles. Our commitment is to provide exceptional customer service and deliver top-notch vehicles to our clientele. We are also a Case IH Ag Machinery Dealer and stock various smaller equipment such as Husqvarna Home & Garden, Silvan and Hardi products.

About the role

We are currently looking for a New and Used Car Salesperson to join our main office located in Lyndoch in the beautiful Barossa Valley. The role is primarily responsible for facilitating the sale of New Mitsubishi and pre-owned vehicles. Ensuring customer satisfaction and retention will be at the forefront of your responsibilities. 

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice and guidance on vehicle options.
• Meet specific sales volume and profitability targets set by dealership management.
• Utilize proven sales techniques and strategies to negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Manage the delivery process, ensuring smooth transactions and providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or inquiries.
• Maintain the dealership showroom and pre-owned yard presentation to uphold a professional and inviting atmosphere.
• Keep abreast of product knowledge, market trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position our vehicles in the market.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

Skills and attributes we are looking for include however not limited to:

• A strong customer service focus
• Proven experience in automotive sales, preferably in both New and Used vehicles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and profitability.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a high level of initiative.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Valid car driver's license
• Must be willing and able to provide a Police clearance.
• Experience working with Auto-IT software desirable but not a requirement.
