About the Role:

Thompson Health Careis seeking New Graduate Registered Nurses to work at Macleay Valley House to provide high quality level of care competently within their scope of practice. The Graduate Nurse Program is designed to assist the newly qualified RN in the transition from student to registered practitioner as a valued member of our healthcare team.
Daily duties:
- Ensure that our resident care and treatments are documented to meet regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with residents, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and relatives
- Provide leadership and supervision of AIN's
- Flexible and passionate about aged care
- Endorsed by APHRA (essential)
- Demonstrate commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for residents
- Possess developing clinical knowledge and skills
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents their families and staff
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to problem solve, negotiate, mediate and resolve conflict.
- Great communication skills and confidence to lead and actively contribute to a team
- Strive for excellence in customer service and promote an environment of harmony and trust
- Excellent written documentation and assessment skills
- A good knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards
