The successful candidate will work alongside the Night Auditor to effectively run the Front Office department from 2300-0700 hours ensuring hotel standards are maintained and guests requests are adhered to.
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, your responsibilities will include;
- Audit of daily income postings and charges
- Balancing of transactions for the day for the hotel
- Preparation of city ledgers for the Finance department
- Daily shift reports
- A variety of guest related and front office duties
The successful candidate will have:
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of Front Office
- Be financially astute and have an eye for detail
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy in Opera, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Current Senior First Aid certificate desirable
- Current RSA qualification desirable
- Current Food Handlers Certificate
- Valid Drivers License
- A positive approach to all delegated tasks and the ability to remain calm under pressure
