Job description:

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators based in Marleston on Night Shift. This is a perfect role for someone who thrives on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems and has the competency to run machinery and equipment.

The Accountabilities:

• Setting up, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards
• Production activities associated within the rostered position with reasonable requests for overtime when required
• Cleaning equipment and surrounding work areas
• Other duties as directed within the skills and experience of the successful applicant
• The ability to manual handle up to 20kg

The Ingredients for Success:

Just like you can't make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role;

• Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week 10pm - 6am (Please note you will be required to commence Sunday evenings for the Night Shift position)
• Demonstrated ability to operate various pieces of equipment in a plant
• A proven history of following work instructions, procedures and policies
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
• The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision as well as work effectively within a team environment
• Able to complete a full medical and mechanical aptitude testing upon request
