Cnc Machinist / Programmer Operator

Alsop Engineering is a growing engineering / manufacturing company in Caringbah NSW and is looking for a CNC Machinist / Programmer Operator to join the team. 

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with specialized knowledge and experience in operating machinery controlled by Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Okuma systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in machining techniques, tooling, programming, and be able to optimize production processes.

The successful applicant must have the following requirements:

• Resident to Australia or have the required Visa
• Great attention to detail and take pride in their work
• High standard of punctuality and presentation
• Own transport to get to and from work
• Fully Qualified Tradesman 
• Cad / Cam experience 
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Okuma controls.
• Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts.
• Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and cutting speeds/feed rates.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality and precision in work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Advantageous:

• Familiarity with ProShop or similar shop management software is a plus.
• Experience with Fusion 360
• Forklift license

Our factory is clean and tidy with all up to date machinery and a friendly working environment. 

Flexible hours are available and overtime is welcomed but not essential.
