About the role
We are looking for a motivatedNight Supervisor to join our Front Office Team. With an eye for detail and a love for numbers you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and maintenance of reporting and accounting procedures as well as delivering exceptional customer service.
This is a full time role covering the Night Manager's rostered days off (Wednesday & Thursday) and does involve the preparation of overnight room service and general public area cleaning.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of daily auditing tasks
- Oversee the operation of the hotel in the absence of the Night Manager
- Preparation and delivery of the overnight Room Service Menu
- General public area cleaning
- Front office tasks including; guest check in and check out, actioning guests requests and answering telephone calls
- Maintain Hotel safety and security
- Manage emergency situations and give first response to medical situations
The successful applicant will posses
- Previous experience as a Night Auditor, Night Porter or a service role in a front office position essential
- First class customer service and exceptional communication skills
- Ability to think on your feet and work under pressure
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks to manage time effectively
- Innovative, outside the box thinker and epic team player
- Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts on a 7-day rotating roster
- Practical understanding of OPERA property management system
