Night Worker

Queensland is currently experiencing it's worst ever Housing Crisis.  There are increasing numbers of families who are experiencing homelessness or at immenent risk of homelessness.  Auchenflower Gardens provides many of our families in crisis, with supported accommodation.

We are currently looking for a Night Worker to assist in providing supervision and support to clients whilst maintaining safety and security at all times.

To be successful in this role:

You will provide direct care, support and supervision of all clients during the night, after hours, ensuring their safety and wellbeing and respond to incidents and emergency situations including those that occur during sleep over shifts.

In addition you will have:

Minimum Cert 4 in relevant tertiary course which provides transferable skills and or experience to the homelessness sector

Working with Children Check (under the screening provisions of the Commission for Children and Young People Act 2000).  Employment is conditional upon presentation of a current Suitability Card (Blue Card) or a willingness to apply for the same.

A current Australian Drivers License.

The capacity to work on a rotational roster of four nights rostered on, four nights rostered off.  (some rotations will fall on weekend shifts)
