Qualifications & Experience Required / Desirable:
Candidates should hold the minimum AINDT, PCN Level 2 or equivalent ISO 9712 certifications, with proven experience in the following:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Magnetic Particle (MT)
- Liquid Penetrant (PT)
- Minimum of 2 years Non-Destructive Testing experience.
- Applicants require the right to work in Australia.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Excellent safety culture.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
- Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
- Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD)
- Eddy Current Testing (ET)
- AINDT / PCN Level 3
- AICIP / API Pressure Equipment Inspection
- Welding Inspector Qualifications
- NACE Coating Inspection certification
- Rope Access IRATA certification
Day to Day duties include:
- Ensuring that the work area is safe.
- Ensuring inspection techniques are carried out within the parameters of the nominated specification and/or procedures.
- Establishing and conducting the most effective NDT techniques on components requiring inspection.
- Carrying out a range of NDT inspection techniques on components and assemblies, in order to establish compliance with codes and standards.
- Producing clear and concise reports detailing the methods used and results of the inspection.
- Ensuring any limitations of the inspection or deviations from the work scope are clearly documented and communicated to the Client and Supervisor at the earliest possible opportunity.
