About your new role:
Reporting to the Manager Non- Regulated Platform, and leading a dedicated team of 8, as the Non-Regulated Team Lead, you’ll support your team in achieving success in the operation of the cloud platform.
You’ll be responsible for leading the technical operations of the cloud and data platforms which support the digital products, services, applications, and capabilities for the Non-Regulated Platform.
You’ll ensure continuous optimisation of technology and solutions through strong technical leadership, and connection to industry, whilst maintaining a focus on keeping the platform contemporary and delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Your day will have you managing vendor relationships, influencing, and negotiating with strategic partners are aligned to customer and Digital strategy. Including working on releases and opportunities to maintain alignment with roadmaps.
You’re accountable for the overall planning, coordination and delivery of the activities required to transition services into operations within the platform as well as, actively managing platform risks and issues, security, legal and audit compliance.
You can be located in Brisbane or Rockhampton.
The remuneration for your new role is from $164K plus 12.75% super for a 9-day fortnight and from $186K plus 12.75% super for a 10-day fortnight.

About you:
You’re an IT professional who’s experienced in leading a team in achieving successful outcomes within the required timeframes and to budget.
You’ll be skilled in driving and shaping contemporary and industry leading technologies and ways of working surrounding modern cloud platforms i.e. AWS, Azure, cloud connectivity, cloud security, data, integration, cloud FinOps, CI/CD tooling.
Ideally, you’ll have an operational knowledge of energy market, metering systems, emerging energy technologies and systems in the Australian Electricity industry.
You’ll leverage your significant demonstrated abilities to exercise critical thinking skills in a complex environment and be able to articulate alternative approaches to solving business problems.
You’re proficient in effectively conveying outcomes and issues so they are understandable to others, in addition to ensuring a culture of continuous improvement is developed, established, and maintained.
You will also have strong experience in contemporary digital service management, including the ability to lead, manage and develop the delivery of Digital operational services, using cross-functional squads and teams focused on delivering large scale DevSecOps solutions in shared services environments.
