The Opportunity
Working with the Business Team’s Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is responsible for planning and managing the on-time delivery of cross functional tasks associated with NPD projects. This includes keeping tasks on track within the Stage Gate governance framework, holding all project team members accountable to the plan and implementing appropriate risk management plans.
The Accountabilities
- Develop detailed timelines, ensuring project tasks are identified and organised to meet and comply to the company’s Stage Gate governance and approval framework.
- Track and report on project progress, signalling when tasks are off track/off scope and developing action plans to deliver on time and in full.
- Facilitate operational execution meetings with cross functional teams and identify and respond to stakeholder needs and concerns as required.
- Support risk and issues management and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans. Be forward-thinking and proactive in addressing project issues and challenges.
- Support continuous improvement of the Stage Gate process across Business Teams.

- 2-3 years’ NPD project co-ordinator experience within FMCG and/or food industry.
- Strong project management skills with a demonstrable record of overseeing and delivering multiple projects on time and in full. Relevant qualifications in Project Management desirable but not essential; prior experience with NPD Stage Gate principles, processes and implementation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment and comfortable with change. Highly developed organizational skills, strong time management and very good attention to detail and accuracy
- Understand key commercial, customer, R&D and supply chain considerations and impacts to project delivery. Financial acumen, especially understanding P&L drivers
- Degree qualification with a major in Business/Marketing and/or linked to Product Development or Supply Chain
