You’re a very hands-on person, with a background in manufacturing/joinery/installation, or some similar thing. You may be an aspiring project manager or an already established one who is looking for more variety. You love what you do and creating/building things.
You are a real people person and you enjoy connecting with people from different industries. You're great with subbies and staff, but also great with clients and like to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
You are both creative and practical and you want a role that combines the two. You have a knack for bringing plans to life and love seeing the final result. You're organised, great with scheduling and always meet your deadlines.
You want to work for a smaller business, with a good, supportive team who works collaboratively to meet deadlines and succeed. You hate micromanagers, and want to work for bosses who will support and encourage you, but also trust you to own your role and be able to make decisions.
This is a Project & Design Coordinator position at Point Retail. Point Retail is an innovative company specialising in crafting captivating retail displays and brand experiences, pushing the boundaries of retail design and production for a diverse portfolio of clients.
They need someone who enjoys being busy, doing all different kinds of things, likes to work autonomously and isn't scared of making decisions.
The key elements of this role will be things like collaborating with suppliers or clients, collecting and delivering samples, assisting with logistics, freight bookings and deliveries and building prototypes and display fixtures with the team. It is a wide range of duties and you will never be bored!
Every day can be different, you might be in the office at the desk one day or out visiting sites and working with suppliers. Each display presents a unique aspect which requires a different approach or method of production, so you need to be comfortable with reading and executing design plans.
They are a really fun and relaxed team, and the bosses have a very hands off approach. They are happy to train and mentor where needed, but autonomy is highly regarded.
The role is 8:30-5, Mon-Fri, with 2 days WFH. If this got you excited, please apply!
