We are partnered with a well-known utility organisation for the recruitment of a new Project Planner.
This contract position is within a long-term project within WA, and is based at this organisation's Bentley offices.
The Role
You'll be responsible for establishing and maintaining the project schedule - this includes setting up multi-level schedules in Primavera P6, resource and/or quantity loading schedules to determine appropriate manning, ramp-up, etc. and determine the appropriate level of detail for schedules used for the project. You'll ensure the project schedule aligns to the project scope, project WBS and project delivery/execution strategy.
Your Background
We are seeking candidates with:
- Previous demonstrated experience in project planning/scheduling positions or a related technical field, or other related experience
- Relevant experience in Owners Team, EPCM, EPC environments.
- Experienced in project planning and scheduling with awareness of the interface between estimating, planning, cost control, forecast, progress measurement, monthly report preparation in both the project office and on site.
- Experienced in using proprietary planning software (Primavera P6). Experienced in proprietary project controls software (PRISM G2/CMS/InEight) advantageous.
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications, including dis ciplines such as engineering, project management, business administration or finance
You'll also need to supply a police clearance prior to starting and have unrestricted working rights.
