Internal movement has created an opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager, with strong people management capability, to lead our NSW Sales Team.
The Opportunity
As the NSW Sales Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding your individual Sales KPIs, as well as leading, developing, motivating and inspiring the NSW Sales team to achieve the same.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effective performance management of direct reports to ensure achievement of organisational goals. (Performance Reviews, Coaching, Counselling + Discipline.)
- Provision and/or facilitation of training and development for all direct reports ensuring appropriate development and succession is in place for each team member.
- Creation of a Sales Plan/Strategy including development of applicable Sales process + procedure.
- Prospect for new clients (networking, cold calling, advertising and other means).
- Actively promote all Bonds products and services including Courier + Taxi Truck, Bonds Freight Forwarder Services, Bonds 3PL (warehouse services) & Bonds BIS, (Inter/Intra state services)
- "Close" Sales opportunities.
- Achieve annual "new" business sales targets.
- Set up & attend regular meetings with client decision makers. Work through differences to achieve positive outcomes. Support direct reports by attending meetings as required.
- Recover Bonds Transport customers that have moved to competitors for reasons such as service failures, business restructures or pricing.
- Meet and exceed KPI's associated with growing our local, interstate and intrastate division.
- Analyse Sales and variance reports to identify trends including assessment of team member performance, up/down traders. Initiate improvement action.
- Explore, develop, implement, and communicate strategies to drive innovation & minimise operational expense within the NSW Sales Team.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the wider Bonds team.
- Positively contribute to the organisation's culture by acting responsibly and in the best interest of Bonds.
