The Armidale School (TAS) is an Anglican co-educational boarding and day school with a Junior School (Pre-Kindergarten to Year 5), Middle School (Years 6-8) and Senior School (Years 9-12). The School has an enrolment of around 680 students, including over 230 boarders.
The Armidale School is seeking applications from suitably qualified applicants to join our exceptional residential leadership team.
TAS is the only regionally based co-educational GPS school in NSW and prides itself on the high quality of its academic, boarding and co-curricular programs.
Requirements of the Role
- Relevant teaching qualifications and accreditation as required by NESA
- NSW Teacher Accreditation
- Experience in and a clearly articulated understanding of the boarding school environment
- Possesses well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage with students, staff and parents
- Able to contribute as a positive and productive member of the residential staff team
- Demonstrates leadership and initiative in setting the tone of the boarding house for both students and staff
- Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support the boarding house environment
- Relevant teaching experience and qualifications as required by the NSW Institute of Teachers (for all teacher applicants only) and
- Ability to contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular programs in the school
- NSW Working With Children Check prior to commencement on site.
