About UsSouth Australia Medical Imaging (SAMI) is the largest public imaging provider in Australia! With a full range of diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional imaging services provided by a multidisciplinary team, SA Medical Imaging provides care to public and private inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients. We invest in the latest equipment, and we are proudly at the forefront of medical imaging systems, innovation, research, and technology.About the RoleSA Medical Imaging is pleased to offer opportunities for graduating students to join our team.Your key responsibilities:
  • Performing medical imaging services using high-end Nuclear Medicine equipment to perform examinations for clients/patients across a range of Nuclear Medicine specialties, with progressing professional independence
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers
  • Delivering the best possible patient care and service in accordance with professional, ethical, and industry quality standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills, expertise, and self-capabilities, and keep well-informed of advancements in imaging and technology.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Current National Police Clearance (Vulnerable)
  • Working with Children Check (DHS)
  • AHPRA registration and EPA SA Radiation Licences (from January 2025).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other medical and non-medical personnel.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of SA Medical Imaging.
  • Ability to perform weekend and out-of-hours work; on a rostered or on-call basis and be compensated accordingly.
