SalaryMetro South Hospital and Health Service are looking for a Nurse Manager - Sub and Non-Acute Patient (SNAP) Co-ordinator to join their team. The Nurse Manager role provides coordination and guidance in relation to nursing management practises by enabling and supporting operational and strategic organisational/divisional goals; working in collaboration with other Nurse Grade 7’s supporting the in overall efficient and effective management, benchmarking, maintaining standards and optimising patient/program outcomes.

About the Role
Within the Health Funding Analysis service, the Nurse Manager role is to improve the collection and timeliness of Sub and Non-Acute Patient (SNAP) patient episodes, reflect the primary treatment goal and optimise funding. The role will consult with key stakeholders including the Clinical treating team, Nursing, Allied health, ACAT team, Palliative care, Health Funding Analysis team, Health Informatics team, Revenue team & Divisional Executive.
• Lead the management, application and evaluation of contemporary human, material and financial resource management within the health care team environment.
• Ability to work effectively in the health care team, organise work priorities, provide nursing leadership and review models/work practices and patient care processes that support the continuum of care.
• Apply critical thinking and reasoning, advanced problem-solving skills and expert clinical and non-clinical judgement in supporting the overall management of the service.
• Provide timely, accurate, innovative and high standard of support for quality processes including data accuracy and analysis, comprehensive reports resulting in sustainable quality improvements and outcomes.
