Salary Classification: Nurse Unit Manager Grade 3 - Year 1-2
Remuneration: $68.38-$69.65 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's
About the role:
The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for coordinating clinical services to ensure accurate and timely patient centred care. The successful applicant will be responsible for daily clinical operations management and governance within the Emergency Department.
Your main duties will include:
Lead and role model professional clinical service delivery, providing expert advice and mentoring for nursing staff.
Oversee the patient flow process, management of transfer of care, patient flow portals and electronic journey boards.
Manage resources of the Emergency Department to maximise patient care, budgetary and key performance indicators.
About you:
Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA
Ability to build a cohesive service focused team through coaching, mentoring and guiding team members.
Relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical leadership or management, or willingness to undertake same.
Demonstrated professional expertise in Critical Care / Emergency Department to ensure the high-quality patient care.
