AddressRedland Hospital, Surgery and Specialist Outpatients are looking for a Nurse Unit Manager to join their team. This role will lead and coordinate the newly commissioned ICU/HDU at Redlands Hospital, ensuring best practice standards in clinical practice and efficient resource management, while the Clinical Outreach team will offer 24/7 specialist support for in-hospital resuscitation and clinical deterioration. This unit, opening in early 2025, will provide level 4 specialist clinical care to critically ill adult in-patients and support ICU services in the Metro South Health Service area.

About the Role
- Accountable for delivery of contemporary nursing practice, patient outcomes and the achievement of associated service performance targets/indicators within the Intensive Care Unit.
- Lead change through service-wide quality and service improvement activities and support best practice information technology (IT) support solutions.
- Responsible in the development and sustainability of a culture of learning resulting in a capable and educated nursing/midwifery workforce.
- Utilise advanced, effective communication and negotiation skills and influences the culture towards a common vision, direction and ethical framework.
