Position Profile: The Nurse Unit Manager effectively coordinates the services, operations and resources of the Theatre Directorate to effectively respond to WA Country Health Service – South West requirements and the needs of the South West population. The Nurse Unit Manager provides a professional nursing leadership and clinical management within the Perioperative Unit which includes Theatre, Specialist clinics and support for HSSU within Bunbury Hospital ensuring evidence based practice, quality and cost effective patient care in a regional facility.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective nursing leadership and advanced clinical skills relating to Theatre, Visiting Specialist Services and support HSSU in an environment of change and evolution of service delivery.
- Demonstrated evidence of effective communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) including conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated coordination of human, physical and financial resources for the delivery of cost effective quality nursing care.
