SalaryAn excellent opportunity has become available for a dynamic and highly motivated Nursing Manager to lead the professional team in the Rehabilitation Unit at a private hospital in Newcastle.ROLE OVERVIEWAs Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) you will be responsible for providing leadership direction to the Rehabilitation Unit & Allied Health team to support the strategic direction, operational processes, budget, and business direction of the hospital.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSAs the successful applicant, you will possess the following attributes:
- Current AHPRA registration;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience;
- Post Graduate qualification in a relevant specialty field (or working towards);
- Experience in managing a department (including acting/deputising a manager role);
- Compliance with ACSQHC National standards;
- A strong commitment to developing in a management role;
- Computer literacy including MS Office and various databases;
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment;
- Proven time management and prioritisation skills;
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge base in labour management;
- Demonstrated HR management experience.
- Flexibility to work across one or multiple hospitals;
