A fantastic opportunity awaits an accomplished Registered Nurse to assume a significant leadership position in the unit at a private hospital in Sydney. This is a permanent full-time role.ABOUT THE ROLE
- You will be responsible for the efficient management of staff and resources within the unit ensuring achievement of excellence in care delivery in line with policies and procedures, best practices, and legislative requirements;
- A significant component of this role is mentoring and leading the passionate team of nurses and clinical support staff as well as working alongside a supportive executive team;
- Demonstrated ability to ensure the human, and financial resources of the department within a defined budget, to deliver safe and efficient health care;
- This role will suit an individual driven to help others succeed. This is a perfect opportunity for a senior nurse who wants to advance their career into a management role and build a clinical leadership skillset.
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- At least 4 years of experience in Orthopaedics, Breast/Plastics, and General Surgery is essential;
- Any clinical leadership experience (eg. previous NUM experience) or post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded, although not essential;
- You will have a high level of written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- You will bring a capacity to lead and inspire a team of clinical professionals and act as a dedicated mentor.
