Nurse Level 5 RDO (Remuneration Package Range $149,681 - $155,897)Primary Health – Barkly RegionOngoing and fixed vacancy for 2 years available in Tennant CreekAs per merit selection principles, an applicant’s suitability for this vacancy will be determined having regard to their knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience, and potential for future development. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification they may be appointed on a fixed term basis with ongoing appointment subject to them attaining the qualification during the fixed term period. This position offers a career changing opportunity for an experienced clinician with a background in Quality Improvement & Infection Prevention to work in a multidisciplinary team regulating compliance and providing leadership with relevant accreditation standards, infection prevention and control standards and Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives. Applicants must have demonstrated ability to provide leadership and facilitate teamwork, as well as clinical and professional knowledge in the area of safety and quality & infection prevention control. Willing to travel intra-territory to remote communities in the Barkly region by road or light aircraft, including overnight stays and experience driving a manual vehicle with eligibility to obtain an NT manual drivers licence is essential.The Barkly region is known for its beautiful desert landscapes, whilst in Tennant Creek take the opportunity of swimming, canoeing or kayaking on Lake Maryanne or just relax and enjoy the scenic landscape.
