About the role
Northern NSW LHD District Office Ballina are seeking a Nurse Manager Workforce to provide strategic leadership to the Local Health District and its sites and services in the development and implementation of Nursing and Midwifery workforce planning and the implementation and monitoring of workforce systems. You'll be providing operational and professional management of a cohort of senior Nursing and Midwifery staff.
Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician led clinical standards, safety and quality improvements have become a major focus. The LHD is committed to the strengthening and ongoing involvement and clinician engagement of staff that provide direct patient care in the planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
