Position Profile

JHC is looking to employ suitably experienced clinicians to join the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Team.

• In this role you will join a team in one of the fastest growing areas in Australia.
• You will work with an established team of Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, ITP trainees, SMO, CMO and RMO to provide in-hours care and on-call services for a diverse range of obstetric and gynaecological patients with 3000 public births per annum.

Our facility includes:

• On-site level 2b Special Care Nursery
• 24-hour Paediatric service
• 24-hour Anaesthetic service
• 24-hour intensivist-led HDU/ICU service
• 12 operating theatre suites.

JHC is looking to employ Registrars with a salary range of $139,305 – $213,086 p.a pro rata (including base salary, 11% superannuation and professional development allowance). High overnight penalties are paid, and casual contracts are available to suitable candidates.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology as an O&G registrar
• Registered as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Authority (Medical Board)
• Ability to perform caesarean sections and instrumental deliveries.
• Must have demonstrated clinical and procedural experience as a registered medical practitioner for a minimum of 6 months in a hospital setting in Australia or overseas at an equivalent skill level.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
