CFS is seeking a full-time Coordinator for our Parks Occasional Care Centre (POCC) at Wetherill Park. It is a role that suits a motivated, proactive, engaging person with tertiary qualifications and experience in Early Childhood or related areas.
Reporting to the Manager, Children’s Services you will be responsible for the leadership at a centre that is committed to providing a safe, child-focused and stimulating learning environment for all children attending our POC centre; a centre where programs, activities and support enhance children’s autonomy, initiative, self-worth and dignity.
About you:
You will bring the following attributes and skills to the coordinator Occasionalrole:
Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood and Education.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the Children’s Services sector with a proven track record of managing educators and/or childcare assistants.
An understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
Demonstrated experience to achieve outcomes, managing tight timeframes, and meeting deadlines and project plans.
Experience in Administration skills
Valid Working with Children Check.
A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this asap.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
This is a permanent full-time position that is remunerated under the Children’s Services Award, commencing at Level 5.1, plus superannuation and salary packaging.
