The Role
- Participate in a dynamic and supported rotational program.
- Assess and treat referred patients within a multidisciplinary acute, sub-acute or community setting to deliver optimal patient care.
- Assist senior Occupational Therapists with the development of the occupational therapy service through quality improvement activities, clinical guidelines, and clinical placements for undergraduate students.
The Area
Our Occupational Therapist (HP1-2) work across acute, sub-acute and community caseloads with planned 6 monthly rotations. You will provide assessment and interventions for a defined caseload with daily support from seniors and clinical leads. We offer a structured and supportive approach for transition from HP01 to HP02 and you will have opportunities to contribute to service improvements within your team. You will also benefit from an extensive education and training program to support your professional development and career progression.

Details of Appointment
Multiple, Permanent, full time, day worker positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary:
$71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
- Relocation allowance up to $5,000
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement

Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia
Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
