Exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our small but expanding team!
About Us:
Be Yourself Allied Health Services is a community/mobile allied health company based in Adelaide and the surrounding suburbs. Due to the ongoing demand for allied health services, we are looking to add an additional Occupational Therapist to our small but growing team. We currently service clients in the southern, central and northern areas of Adelaide, managing a diverse range of paediatric clients.

Roles:
• Paediatric Community Occupational Therapist (full time/part-time available - minimum 3 days per week)
Location:
Due to ongoing demand we are looking at expanding our northern team.
This job opportunity is a work from home role, with clinicians basing themselves at home and going into the community to service clients (schools, childcare centers, kindergartens, local libraries)
About the Role:
• You will work with children aged between 0 – 18 years, with opportunities to work with adult clients if this is an area of interest.
• Opportunity to tailor your caseload to your own interest areas
• Ability to schedule client appointments as you need to fit your lifestyle
• Weekly/fortnightly supervision with a senior therapist and further clinical assistance as needed
• Opportunities to observe senior therapists and other disciplines
• Generous $1000 annual PD budget (FTE)
• Provision of your own key resources/equipment kit
• Travel allowance budget for driving reimbursement
About You:
• You will be responsible for providing holistic individualised therapeutic interventions for the children and family you are servicing
• Use of standardized and informal assessment to guide therapy intervention and provide evidence and justification to funding bodies i.e. NDIS.
• You will gain an understanding of working within the NDIS space and support clients for funding recommendations during NDIS plan reviews
• You will manage your own scheduling of clients, allowing you to schedule clients to suit your lifestyle and daily commitments.
Requirements:
• AHPRA Registration
• Approved qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Professional Indemnity insurance
• Current driver’s license.
• Current police check
• Current working with children's check
• Current Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training certificate
