About the Role:
An exciting, newly created role exists for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. This is a chance to be part of something exciting, to grow with our organisation, and to be a part of a collaborative and energetic team.
Responsibilities
- Conducting home environment assessments and assisting with major and minor home modifications
- Providing therapy services to participants whilst building on their strengths and developing sustainable long term solutions to complex needs
- Accessing and prescribing standard and complex equipment
- Recommendations for vehicle modifications
- Functional assessments of occupational performance and development of therapy plans to promote daily living skills
- Assessing a clients support needs and assisting them with transitioning to supported independent living
- Providing high quality Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation reports

Selection Criteria:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
- Pre-existing registration with AHPRA.
- Mental Health experience or interest is a bonus!!!!
- Demonstrated ability to interact with participants, their families and service providers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation.
- Hold a current WWCC (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & CPR.
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s license.
