The Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being South Australia's largest maternity and obstetric service, and statewide Maternal Fetal Medicine service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within Central Early Childhood and Families Service (CECFS) to join us as an Occupational Therapist (AHP2).
In this role, you will:
- Provide accurate assessment and evaluation of clients with a range of developmental delays by using standardised and informal assessment tools
- Interpret assessment results to form an accurate understanding of the issues arising for the child and their family
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to plan, identify and address quality client management programs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles membership of Occupational Therapy Australia
- Demonstrated ability to manage a complex and varied workload including individual and group work in the Early Childhood field
- Experience working with the application of attachment theory to therapeutic individual and group programs
- Previous experience working with vulnerable children and their families
You will experience a high level of peer support through initial and ongoing forensic training, building on your existing skills and abilities, in this challenging and rewarding role which provides vital services to some of South Australia's most vulnerable people.
