We are currently seeking a part time Occupational Therapist in Melbourne to join our community team. We offer excellent rates and flexible working arrangements to suit the right candidate.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
You will be working in the community to provide occupational therapy home visit services. Your role will include:
- Conducting comprehensive initial assessments to clients in their own home. Varied caseload consisting of paediatrics, disability, geriatrics and mental health.
- Prescribing equipment and/or assistive technology and conducting trials
- Home modifications assessments
- Functional capacity assessments
- Writing accurate and detailed reports to support your clinical assessments and recommendations
- Communicating with clients, staff and suppliers.
- Managing client and family feedback and taking corrective action to ensure services remain positive and responsive to client needs.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will be a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist with excellent communication, organisation and customer service skills.
You will have demonstrated skills and experience in your allied health profession and ability to work independently and under minimal external supervision.
